There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio… than can fit in a conference.

Technical writing is an extremely wide umbrella. Technical writing conferences are few and far between, and they only have so much time for a limited number of talks. Also, the range of possible attendees is few.

Tech Writing Talks aims to expand the horizons of what’s possible. We want to give more speakers opportunities to share fun, interesting, or thought-provoking talks. We want to make talks available for people who might just be curious about technical writing, but who wouldn’t necessarily attend a conference. And we want to make it possible for folks to give and watch talks who can’t or won’t attend conferences.

Give a Talk

Pitch a talk to us. If it sounds like a good fit, we'll invite you to submit the talk. We'll upload it to the channel, and post it on the site, with a page that credits you and links to your preferred social media, LinkedIn, and website links.

Watch Talks

Follow us on YouTube to watch our talks. Or visit the Tech Writing Talks website to browse talk categories, or pick from useful tags, to help you discover interesting talks. Share your favorite talks to help more people find TWT!

Sponsorship

Tech Writing Talks is currently self-funded by the organizer. We are happy to offer a small $100 US honorarium for published talks. Sponsorship would enable us to accept more talks and potentially increase the honorarium.
